The Problem

SaaS application vendors do not host their solutions in every country across the globe. Organizations with strict privacy, compliance, regulatory, governance or contractual obligations with respect to sensitive data often have no viable way to use SaaS applications that cannot store their customer's data within that organization's home region.

Data Residency concerns can actually block many organizations from using some of the best SaaS applications available on the market today.

The Solution

DataStealth anonymizes sensitive data (i.e. email address, first name, last name) by transforming the sensitive data into tokenized or encrypted data before any it leaves your organization's home geographic region, and before it crosses any geographic borders.

For example, 'me@mydomain.com' could become 'NOTme@NOTmydomain.com'.

By using DataStealth to transform and protect sensitive data locally, organizations are now able to use SaaS applications while at the same time adhering to strict privacy, compliance, regulatory, governance or contractual obligations that might otherwise prohibit the storing, processing or transmitting of sensitive data outside their home geographic region.

When Cybersecurity Is Top of Mind, Canadians’ Confidence Grows Alongside the Digital Economy

According to a recent Cybersecurity Study,

Canadians recognize the need to be extra vigilant in guarding against cybersecurity threats that have become more pronounced as a result of COVID-19, but lack confidence that they are armed to enter this environment of perceived increased risk and exposure.

The latest Interac research demonstrated that seniors are seen to be most at risk, with 81 per cent of Canadians believing this demographic to be most vulnerable. The positive news is that nearly two in three Canadians (65 per cent) have taken action to learn more about cybersecurity risks.

A CISO's Guide to a Good Night Sleep

It is a common feeling in the cybersecurity community that CISOs do not sleep well at night.

CISOs worry about the latest incident, end of life technology in their environment, breaches in the news, insecure users and vendors, penetration testing results, budget and resources, and the latest vulnerability report (to name a few).
